Vegan Chocolate Milk Pops
Dreaming of Summer days, gentle breezes rippling through wildflower meadows, tanned, smiling faces, and these delicious, simple to make Choc-Milk pops.
The recipe below calls for a combination of Pitch Dark and Vanoffee buttons, but any of our chocolate flavours (or combinations) would work....If making for children, we recommend using lighter chocs such as Silky Coconut or Vanoffee.
Ingredients
100ml non-dairy milk (we used almond)
400ml full fat coconut milk
150g Pitch Dark raw chocolate buttons (or a combination of Pitch Dark and Vanoffee buttons for a less 'dark' chocolate flavour)
melted chocolate for dipping (100g)
Instructions
1. Heat the non dairy milk, coconut milk and coconut sugar together in a saucepan until boiling. Put the buttons into a medium sized mixing bowl.
2. When piping hot, pour the milk mixture over the buttons, stir to combine then whisk until fully melted.
3. Pour into an ice lolly mould and freeze overnight until solid. Remove from the mould and dip in melted chocolate and freeze again for 20 minutes before devouring.
